Mike Davidson is a nearly lifelong Alaskan, having grown up in the Anchorage and Girdwood area.  As such Mike has been skiing the Chugach Range for essentially his entire life, and has been a guide at CPG since 1998. Prior to becoming a CPG guide Mike spent many years as a member of the Mt. Alyeska Professional Ski Patrol where he engaged in avalanche control and ski area safety.   Mike’s goal is to share with you the magic of our mountains and special locations during your vacation. 

When not guiding Mike works as a Senior Fire Captain and Paramedic for the Anchorage Fire Department and enjoys fishing and flying his Cessna 170 during the long days of the Alaskan summers.  Mike and his wife Christi have lived in Girdwood for the last 18 years and now share their home with their 2 year old daughter Reed.

• Mike spent many years as a member of the Mt. Alyeska Professional Ski Patrol where he engaged in avalanche control and ski area safety.
• Mike is also a state and nationally certified Paramedic and serves as the medical advisor for CPG, ensuring that the guides and equipment are ready should a medical need arise.
