The Bike Ranch is a mountain bike riders dream destination—a premiere training facility loaded with custom stunts, jumps, pump tracks, BMX course and challenging singletrack trails interconnected on 160-acres of remote private land.

Your two-wheeled adventure starts with a night at the historic Sun Valley Lodge.  The next morning, guests are shuttled over Dollar Hide Pass to the Bike Ranch. It’s an experience your entire family will enjoy because we cater to all rider types and abilities, so even young Dirt Wranglers and novice riders will learn how to ride within their comfort levels.

When you’re not in your saddle we encourage guests to immerse themselves in the great outdoors by soaking under the stars in custom our wood-burning hot tub. Our outdoor sauna and cold plunge tub tends to be a favorite after a long day of riding. If you really want to pamper yourself, book a private one hour body massage during your registration. If you have the extra energy, pedal down the road to the natural hot springs, or test your accuracy with a game of Bocce ball or Frisbee golf. Of course, no night is complete without S‘mores by the campfire.

The lodge is spacious, so feel free to find a cozy spot to read, listen to music or play a board game. Headlamps are recommended if you wish to take an evening stroll to do a little star gazing. The kitchen and pantry are always open, so don’t be shy if you need a snack. 

After 3 days at "The Ranch", guests are shuttled back to Sun Valley Lodge for 3 additional days in the undiscovered mountain biking mecca of Sun Valley.  Miles of single track and lift service trails await all skill levels of riders.  Or, partake in multitude of activities that this world-class resort has to offer.

DAY 1 – Thursday

When you arrive at Sun Valley’s Friedman Memorial Airport (SUN) a shuttle will take you to Sun Valley Resort.

 DAY 2 – Friday

When you arrive at Bike Ranch by shuttle or air taxi the lodge host will show you to your room. After you get settled-in, Ranch Hands, our certified coaches, will properly fit you to your bike before you saddle up and head out for your first biking session.

 DAY 3 – Saturday

Rise and shine—it’s time to saddle up, but not before a nutritious breakfast and some morning stretching. Riders will then follow their assigned Ranch Hand to their designated training area. You will be reunited with your friends and family for lunch back at the lodge. After you swap stories of your accomplishments, you will hit the trails with your Ranch Hand. After dinner we offer a bike maintenance clinic and plenty of time to rest and relax.

 Day 4 — Sunday

Good morning, Campers! We anticipate you might be a bit sore today, so after breakfast, Ranch Hands will lead you through some extra stretching before you saddle up. After another gourmet lunch and final ride at Bike Ranch, we will arrange shuttle or air taxi service back to Sun Valley Resort along with your bike rental.

 Day 5 — Monday

Put some more dirt under your wheels on the vast network of local trails or take a break from climbing and purchase a chairlift ticket on Bald Mountain and attack 3,000 vertical feet of buffed downhill terrain.

 If you encounter any issues with your rental bike while in Sun Valley, Sturtevant’s in downtown Ketchum will assist you with repairs and maintenance.  

 Day 6 — Tuesday

Beyond biking in Sun Valley—hiking, golf, fly-fishing, gun club, horseback riding, ice skating, bowling, tennis, swimming, salon and day spa, shopping, art, music and fine dinning. Be sure to review the Sun Valley Trail Map & Entertainment Guide included in your welcome kit for a comprehensive list of day and evening activities.

 Day 7 — Wednesday

Depending on your departure time, you might have time saddle up one last ride. Schedule your shuttle service to Hailey airport with Sun Valley Resort and coordinate your bike rental return with your assigned Bike Ranch host.
